MillenniumIT ESP has had a remarkable journey over the past 27 years in local and global markets and is now driving an extensive global expansion strategy. In line with this expansion, we established Millennium IT ESP Singapore Pte Ltd our first international entity in 2021, marking a significant milestone for the company. Following this, we are excited to announce the second stepping stone of our global expansion strategy by incorporating MIT ESP Bangladesh (Pvt) Ltd. We believe this will strengthen our capabilities and help us fuel growth across the region.
Bangladesh is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia and portrays great opportunities for a thriving tech ecosystem. Aligning with our global strategy, Bangladesh has a booming economy and good business environment offering low labour costs, which attracts multinationals from industries such as automobile and apparel to establish manufacturing operations in the country. Thereby, these companies have created opportunities in the tech space, as the digitalization and automation of operations has become a top priority. Although the country is well positioned to attract multinational businesses due to its strategic location, easy market access and low-cost labour, hiring the right technology skills remains a challenge.
Identifying this skills gap, we saw an exponential growth opportunity to deliver suitable and scalable enterprise solutions and expertise in Bangladesh.
